Northern Quarter · Manchester

Espresso by day.
Disco by night.

A neon-soaked café and cocktail bar where flat whites turn into French martinis and the back room turns into a dance floor after dark.

Daytime

Slow mornings, proper coffee

Single-origin espresso, hand-brewed filter, and pastries from a bakery two doors down. Open from 8am, laptops welcome until noon.

Evening

Cocktails under neon

A short, sharp list built around house infusions and disco-era classics. Happy hour runs Tuesday to Friday, 5–7pm.

Late

The back-room dance floor

Mirrorball, vinyl, and resident DJs spinning soul, funk and disco from 10pm Thursday through Saturday. No cover before 9.

Our story

One room, two completely different moods

We opened in a former print workshop in 2019 with a simple idea: the place you get your morning coffee should also be the place you end your night. The espresso machine never really cools down — by 9pm the lights drop, the disco ball spins, and the regulars who came in for a cortado are back for a Negroni.

Kind words

What regulars say

★★★★★

"Best flat white in the Quarter, and somehow the same place where I danced until 1am on Saturday. Makes no sense and I love it."

— Priya, came for the coffee, stayed for the disco
★★★★★

"The Friday funk night is a proper institution now. Unpretentious, friendly bar staff, and the espresso martinis are dangerous."

— Marcus, Ancoats
★★★★★

"Booked the back room for my 30th. The team sorted everything and the mirrorball did the rest."

— Hannah, birthday host
